Best advice:
– Practice healthy habits right from the start to establish a routine that allows you to focus on all aspects of your daily life and avoid falling behind.
– Seize opportunities that come your way and give your best effort; you never know where they might lead or what you’ll learn from them.
– Embrace and be comfortable in your own unique self; don’t let anyone dampen your sparkle or be influenced by negative energy around you.
Resources:
– SASC
– Library
Out of all the resources on the UNE campus, the one that never gets talked about is the library. It has everything you need to succeed: a large selection of books, tables to allow studying, dozens of computers to do your work on and more. The ability to have all your needed tools in one place is what makes the UNE library an excellent resource on campus.
Least useful advice:
“The worst advice is how people tell you you need to know what you want to do before college/freshman year. it’s okay to not have everything figured out, you’ll find along the way what your passion is, if you don’t have it already.”
